Categories of information we collect
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, postal ZIP code.
- Property data: average monthly utility bill, address, publicly listed parcel and satellite roof records.
- Internet activity: IP address, user agent, pages viewed, referring URL, consent timestamps.
How we use information
Information is used to verify solar suitability, generate an educational savings estimate, and route a qualified profile to a licensed installer credentialed in your utility zone. We do not sell consumer data to third parties outside the matched installer network. We do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Calculator data routing & verification clearing houses
User parameters entered into the interactive calculator — including ZIP Code, Monthly Bill, property address, and contact identifiers — are compiled securely and routed directly to licensed verification clearing houses and credentialed installer partners via strict API channels. All transmissions use TLS 1.2 or higher encryption in transit. No raw data is exposed to unaffiliated marketing networks. Sharing with lead buyers
When you submit a request, the matched installer receives the data required to provide a quote (name, contact, ZIP, utility, bill range). Installers are contractually bound to use the data solely to respond to your request and to honor opt-outs.
Retention
Lead records and consent metadata are retained for five years to satisfy TCPA recordkeeping obligations, then purged. Aggregate, de-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely.
Data security
Consumer data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Access is restricted to authorized personnel via role-based controls.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@grintyd.com. California residents may also use the Do Not Sell or Share opt-out.
No incentivized data collection
No compensation, cash rewards, or vouchers are distributed for using this software platform. Submissions reflect organic consumer intent.
